E.E.S. Granules

Erythromycin inhibits microsomal protein synthesis in susceptible organisms by inhibiting the translocation process. Specific binding to the 50S subunit or 70S ribosome occurs in these organisms but there is no binding to the stable 80S mammalian ribosome. Erythromycin is active against many Grampositive bacteria, some Gram-negative bacteria and against mycoplasmas and chlamydia.

• প্রাপ্তবয়স্ক ও ৮ বছরের উধ্বে: ২৫০ - ৫০০ মি.গ্রা. ৬ ঘন্টা পর পর অথবা ৫০০ মি.গ্রা. -১ গ্রাম ১২ ঘন্টা পর পর।
• সংক্রমণের হার বেশী হলে প্রতিদিন সর্বোচ্চ ৪ গ্রাম।
• শিশু : ৩০ - ৫০ মি.গ্রা./ কেজি প্রতিদিন বিভক্ত মাত্রায় মােট ১০ -১৪ দিন। অথবা চিকিৎসকের পরামর্শ অনুযায়ী সেব্য।

Direction for reconstitution of suspension: Shake the bottle to loosen powder. Add 60 ml (12 measuring spoonful) of boiled and cooled water to the dry powder of the bottle. For ease of preparation, add water to the bottle in two proportions. Shake well after each addition until all the powder is in suspension.

Note: Shake the suspension well before each use. Keep the bottle tightly closed. The reconstituted suspension should be stored in a cool and dry place, preferably in refrigerator and unused portion should be discarded after 7 days.

পার্শ্বপ্রতিক্রিয়া

বমি বমি ভাব, বমি, পেটে ব্যথা, ক্ষুধামন্দা ও উদরাময়ের ঘটনা কখনও কখনও হতে পারে। সামান্য এলার্জিক প্রতিক্রিয়া যেমন আর্টিকেরিয়া ও চর্ম ফুসকুঁড়ি হতে পারে।

সতর্কতা

যাদের যকৃতের কার্যকারিতায় সমস্যা রয়েছে তাদের ক্ষেত্রে ইহা সাবধানতার সাথে প্রয়ােগ করা উচিত। ইরাইথ্রোমাইসিনের প্রতি অতিসংবেদনশীল রােগীদের ক্ষেত্রে ইহা প্রতিনির্দেশিত।

মিথস্ক্রিয়া

Theophylline: The use of Erythromycin in patients who are receiving concomitant high doses of theophylline may be associated with an increase in serum theophylline and potential theophylline toxicity. If symptoms of toxicity develop, the dose of theophylline should be reduced.

Digoxin: Concomitant administration of Erythromycin and Digoxin has been reported to result in elevated digoxin serum levels.

গর্ভাবস্থাকালীন ব্যবহার

কেবল সুনির্দিষ্টভাবে নির্দেশিত হলেই গর্ভাবস্থায় ইরাইথ্রোমাইসিন ব্যবহার করা উচিত। দুগ্ধদানকারী মায়েদের ক্ষেত্রে ইহা সাবধানতার সাথে প্রয়ােগ করা উচিত।

বৈপরীত্য

Erythomycin is contraindicated in patients with a known hypersensitivity to this drug.

অতিরিক্ত সতর্কতা

তীব্র ওভারডোজ

In case of overdosage, Erythromycin should be discontinued. Overdosage should be handled with the prompt elimination of unabsorbed drug and all other appropriate measures should be instituted. Erythromycin is not removed by peritoneal dialysis or haemodialysis.

থিওফাইলিন, কার্বামাজেপিন, ডিগক্সিন, ওয়ারফেরিন এবং আরগােটামিন।

সংরক্ষণ

১৫-২৫ ডিগ্রি সেন্টিগ্রেডের মধ্যে সঞ্চয় করুন। মৌখিক স্থগিতাদেশের জন্য পুনর্গঠিত গুঁড়া: ২-৮ ডিগ্রি সেন্টিগ্রেডের মধ্যে সঞ্চয় করুন।
